# Supa SMS Privacy Statement

**Effective date: 15 October 2026.**

## 1. Scope and operator

This statement supplements the [Supa Privacy Policy](privacy-policy.md) for the Supa SMS/MMS programme. The operators are BuildPass Pty Ltd, ABN 61 652 324 635, ACN 652 324 635, for Australian customers, and BuildPass Inc., EIN 37-2168499, for US customers, subject to the allocation in the [Terms of Service](terms-of-service.md).

It covers verification, requested assistant/service communications and separately opted-in marketing, where offered. The [SMS Messaging Terms](sms-messaging-terms.md) explain the programme, frequency, charges and opt-out process.

## 2. What we collect and why

We collect the number you provide, consent source and timestamp, the disclosure and programme version you accepted, selected message categories, message content, sending and delivery records, replies, support requests, and opt-out or re-enrolment status.

We use this information to send the messages you request or consent to, route replies, troubleshoot delivery, prevent fraud and abuse, honour preferences, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations. We do not infer marketing permission from a verification request or ordinary assistant conversation.

## 3. Mobile information is not shared for others' marketing

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, text-messaging originator opt-in data or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We disclose this information only to providers acting on our behalf as necessary to deliver, operate, secure and support messaging, including carriers and messaging infrastructure providers, or where required by law. Providers must use the information for those permitted purposes. General affiliate, business-transfer or analytics provisions in the Privacy Policy do not override this restriction.

## 4. AI processing and improvement

If you use SMS to talk to the assistant, relevant message content is processed to answer your request and perform the authorised task under the Privacy Policy. That is distinct from training a model.

We do not use conversation content sent by SMS to train, fine-tune or otherwise improve AI models. If "Help improve Supa" is on in Settings, the Supa team may analyse and review those conversations to improve Supa, as described in the Privacy Policy; you can turn it off at any time or contact privacy@getsupa.ai. This is separate from replying STOP, which stops message delivery. Aggregated, anonymised operational totals, such as delivery success rates, may improve the programme provided they do not reveal content, identities or individual consent records. Connected-provider restrictions continue to apply.

## 5. Retention, security and overseas handling

We retain messages and delivery records only as reasonably needed to operate and support the programme, secure it and meet legal requirements. We may retain consent evidence and a minimal suppression record after an opt-out to demonstrate and respect your choice. Deleting an account does not require us to erase a suppression record if doing so would cause unwanted messages or conflict with law.

We use reasonable safeguards, but SMS is not a secure channel for sensitive information and carrier delivery is not guaranteed. Providers may process information overseas as described in the Privacy Policy; mobile-information restrictions remain applicable.

## 6. Your choices and contact

Reply **STOP** to opt out or **HELP** for help on a reply-capable number. For senders that cannot receive replies, use the unsubscribe/support method in the message. You can also contact support@getsupa.ai. After an opt-out, we may send one non-promotional confirmation and then stop texts. A fresh affirmative opt-in is needed to resume the relevant programme.

An SMS opt-out does not itself delete your information. Contact privacy@getsupa.ai to request access, correction or deletion, or make a complaint. Verification, retention exceptions and Australian/US privacy rights are explained in the Privacy Policy. Operator postal addresses appear in the Terms of Service.
